Website terms of use

Effective date: July 30, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These terms govern use of the Portsmouth Accident & Injury Center website. By using the site, a visitor agrees to these terms and the posted Privacy Policy. If a visitor does not agree, the visitor should not use the site.

General information, not individual advice

The website provides general educational and business information. It is not a diagnosis, an examination, or individual medical advice. It is not emergency instruction, legal advice, insurance advice, or accident reconstruction. It is not a promise about coverage, treatment, recovery, or a claim.

Online information cannot account for a person’s complete history, symptoms, medications, examination findings, or circumstances. Decisions about care should be made with an appropriate professional who can evaluate the individual situation.

Emergencies

Call 911 or seek appropriate emergency care for an emergency. Do not wait for a callback, use a website form, or rely on an article when immediate help may be needed. Chiropractic care and this website are not emergency services.

No professional relationship from website use

Reading a page, following a link, calling the office, or submitting the callback form does not by itself create a professional relationship. That includes a doctor-patient, attorney-client, insurer-insured, or fiduciary relationship.

A requested appointment is not confirmed until the office confirms it directly. Any clinical relationship and care decision depend on proper intake, evaluation, consent, and professional judgment.

Callback requests and communications

The public form is for contact and scheduling basics. Do not submit private medical narratives, records, or diagnoses. Do not submit Social Security numbers, insurance member or policy identifiers, or claim documents. Do not submit another person’s sensitive information without proper authority.

Electronic delivery may be delayed, interrupted, or incomplete. A form success message means the request was received. It does not promise an appointment, a response time, treatment, or insurance coverage.

Accuracy and changing information

Reasonable effort is made to present useful information. Health guidance, external sources, road conditions, office availability, hours, ratings, insurance procedures, laws, and third-party pages can change. Confirm time-sensitive information with the organization responsible for it.

The site may correct, update, reorganize, or remove content without notice. No publication or update date creates a continuing duty to revise a page on a particular schedule.

No guarantees or endorsements

The website does not guarantee:

  • A diagnosis, care method, number of visits, result, or recovery date.
  • The appropriateness of chiropractic care for any particular person.
  • Appointment availability or response time.
  • Insurance coverage, payment, claim value, or legal outcome.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free website operation.
  • The accuracy, availability, safety, or policies of an external website.

A link is provided for convenience, sourcing, directions, or additional information. It does not by itself create an endorsement, referral, partnership, sponsorship, or acceptance statement.

External links and third-party resources

The site links to public agencies, health systems, maps, research sources, and other third-party websites for convenience. Portsmouth Accident & Injury Center does not control their content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement or a guarantee that the information is current. Review the third party’s terms and privacy notice before relying on the site or submitting information.

Acceptable use

A visitor may use the site for lawful personal information and communication. A visitor may not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the site, form, accounts, or underlying systems.
  • Interfere with operation, security, or another visitor’s use.
  • Introduce malicious code or automated abuse.
  • Scrape or reproduce substantial original content for commercial reuse.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Submit false, unlawful, threatening, or harmful material.
  • Provide sensitive information about another person without authority.

The site may limit or block activity that appears to threaten security or privacy. It may do the same for activity that threatens availability or lawful operation.

Intellectual property

The site owns or licenses its original Portsmouth copy and original images. The same applies to brand elements, code-native graphics, and distinctive layout components. That applies unless a different source is identified. Limited personal, noncommercial viewing is allowed. No right is granted to republish substantial text, images, branding, or downloadable assets without permission.

Government information, linked publications, trademarks, maps, and third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. It is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or error-free operation. Rights that cannot lawfully be disclaimed remain unaffected.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator and its service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. That limit applies to damages arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this general-information website or an external link.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited. These website terms do not alter duties arising from a separate clinical relationship.

Responsibility for misuse

A person may unlawfully misuse the site or violate these terms. To the extent permitted by law, that person is responsible for the claims, losses, or reasonable costs their conduct causes. This section does not apply where the law prohibits it.

Ohio law and severability

These website terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Ohio. They do not override rights that another jurisdiction requires. If a provision cannot be enforced, it will be limited or separated only as much as needed. The remaining provisions continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as the website changes. They may also be revised as the law or operating practices change. The effective date identifies the version posted. Continued use after a revised version is posted means the visitor accepts the revised terms.
